Translation services

I began work as a full-time freelance translator in Leipzig in 2001, and I am currently offering translations from English into German and German into English (other languages upon request).

For larger projects I work with a team of experienced translators.

Because I am well experienced with content management systems, I also translate entire websites and input the target texts directly into CMS.

  • Translations of standard and technical texts
  • Translations of complete websites and presentations
  • Translation of regular publications such as newsletters or blogs
  • Translation of handbooks, manuals, help files
  • Coordination of larger translation projects
  • Literary translations (poetry, short stories, essays, speeches, Ted Hughes, children's literature) and literary criticism

  • Art and culture
  • Nature and environment
  • Documentaries and film scripts
  • IT, computer, software, hardware, web, manuals, etc. (long-term practical experience in the field)
  • Events and sport
  • Urban development, construction
  • Handbooks and manuals
  • Regional topics, history, promotional material
  • Other special topics upon request

If required, all translations will be proof-read by a native speaker.

I am using modern translation and proofing tools (such as Wordfast), and when working on projects I also introduce my colleagues to using them.

Please contact me if you have further questions or would like a price quote.
